Taylor Swift Revisits Previous Eras Ahead of Album Release
In anticipation of the release of her album “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” pop superstar Taylor Swift has been taking a trip down memory lane, revisiting her past eras. Swift, who first released the album in 2014, has been reminiscing about the good old days when she was often seen with her celebrity squad.
Back in 2014, Swift was frequently spotted hanging out with famous friends such as Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, and Emma Stone. These highly-publicized friendships were a major part of her image at the time.
However, in recent weeks, after reportedly ending her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, Swift has been seen out and about with a new group of friends. One notable companion is Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The two were photographed enjoying a dinner at Emilio’s Ballato in New York on September 30, just before the Chiefs played the New York Jets.
But amidst the new friendships, Swift has not forgotten her old pals. Gomez, one of her closest friends, has been a constant source of support throughout the years. They have been friends since 2008, when they both dated the Jonas Brothers. Gomez has even joined Swift on her “Eras Tour” dates and attended the VMAs with her.
Another long-time friend is actress Blake Lively. The two have been inseparable since around 2015 and were recently seen together in New York. Lively even directed the music video for one of Swift’s songs, “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version).”
Swift’s collaborations extend beyond celebrity friends. The Haim sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana, have worked with her on multiple projects and even appeared in her iconic Fourth of July party photos. They also starred in Swift’s “Bejeweled” music video alongside actress Laura Dern.
One person who has played a significant role in Swift’s music career is producer Jack Antonoff. The two have been friends since 2013 and have collaborated on several songs. In fact, Swift attended Antonoff’s wedding to actor Margaret Qualley in August.
Not all of Swift’s friendships are long-standing, though. “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner has recently been seen bonding with the pop sensation. Their friendship appears to be new, but Turner has already expressed her love for Swift’s album “1989” and has been spotted wearing friendship bracelets associated with Swift’s “Eras Tour.”
It’s worth noting that Turner and her ex-husband, Joe Jonas, who is also a member of the Jonas Brothers, announced their divorce earlier this year after four years of marriage.
As Swift gears up for the release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” she seems to be building a network of supportive friends, both old and new. With her journey through past eras, it’s clear that she cherishes the bonds she has formed with the people in her life.
