The New York Giants have made a big move to strengthen their wide receiver corps by signing veteran Allen Robinson. The 31-year-old receiver had a lackluster season with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023, recording just 34 receptions for 280 yards. However, Robinson brings a wealth of experience to the Giants, with 562 career receptions for 7,028 yards and 43 touchdowns.
Throughout his 10-year career, Robinson has had three 1,000-yard receiving seasons, including a standout year in 2015 where he had 80 receptions for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 220 pounds, Robinson adds size and skill to the Giants’ receiving corps.
The Giants have been focused on rebuilding their wide receiver position, using their No. 6 overall pick in the draft on LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers and signing Isaiah McKenzie in free agency. General Manager Joe Schoen has made concerted efforts to bolster the wide receiver group, drafting Wan’Dale Robinson in 2022 and trading up to select Jalin Hyatt in 2023.
With the addition of Robinson, the Giants are looking to create a dynamic and explosive passing attack for the upcoming season. Fans are eagerly anticipating how Robinson will contribute to the team and help propel them to success on the field. Stay tuned for more updates on the Giants’ offseason moves as they continue to prepare for the upcoming season.
